The Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County announced the 24th annual “Run for Rick” Dunn’s Run, an online, virtual 5-mile & 5k walk-run now through Jan. 24, is dedicated to Rick Case for his 34 years of dedication to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. To register, log onto http://dunnsrun.com/

The annual event, sponsored by Rick Case Automotive Group, will be held in honor of the late Rick Case, a leader in giving in South Florida. “We appreciate this honor for Rick. Our entire company is dedicated to supporting the community and Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County, as we will never let Rick’s impact on this organization be forgotten,” said Rita Case, CEO of the Rick Case Automotive Group.
“Our organization is grateful for over three decades of support by Rick Case. This year’s event will be one of the ways the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County will show appreciation and gratitude to pay tribute to a legend,” says Matt Organ, Co-CEO of The Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.
The Dunn’s Run has earned its reputation as the race that signifies the start of the running season, attracting more than 2,000 runners, walkers and participants.
Participants can pick up their race packages from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 16 at Two George’s at The Cove and Jan. 23 at Jersey Mike’s in Pompano Beach. Finisher medals will be available for pick-up on Jan. 27 from 3 to 7 p.m. at 4EverYoung in Boca Raton. The run is chaired by Jim Dunn and Tony Van Ness.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County serve more than 12,000 at-risk youths, ages 6 to 18 each year from 12 Broward County area clubs. Their purpose is to inspire and enable children to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
