The Royal Dames 50th Annual Tiara Ball

The Royal Dames of Cancer Research celebrated their 50th Annual Tiara Ball at the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort.  The only thing more beautiful than the gowns worn, is the work their fundraising supports.  The Royal Dames of Cancer Research benefit the Rumbaugh-Goodwin Institute at Nova Southeastern University, proudly at the cutting edge of cancer research identifying new gene mutations and discovering new therapies.  With this being the 50th Anniversary Tiara Ball, Chairperson Tanya Heller was set to make this the greatest and most glamorous one yet.  With the theme being The Royal Dames through the decades, a room exclusively displayed vintage books and mannequins in gowns representing the five decades that came before.  Tanya’s husband Andrew Heller so graciously hosted us aboard their yacht, Tanzanite, to share with us all the details of the night and the love and time that has gone into making this event the monumental success it is.  It is because of the time and generosity of the Hellers and all the incredible sponsors of the Royal Dames that over $350,000 was raised for cancer research that evening.
