Talk about rooms with a view. All 113 condos in Akoya Boca West overlook the country club’s golf courses.
Owners have access to all Boca West’s amenities and their own. Included is a fitness center, a pool and a chic party room and catering kitchen residents really use.
The two- to four-bedrooms plus den go for $1 million to $4 million plus. “We’re about 65 percent sold,” Siemens Group partner Rob Siemens said before the grand opening at the Garcia Stromberg designed building.
Who’s buying? “We have people upsizing and downsizing. If they have a place in Manhattan and the Hamptons, and a small place here, they’re selling one and upsizing.”
Locals are moving out of single-family homes in area country clubs and condos on the beach, he added.
Buyers still want space to spread out, he said about the 2,000- to 4,000-square-foot residences. “That’s the trend. They want a home they’re used to and don’t have to maintain.”
We got a peek at two condos, one an end unit. They all have floor-to-ceiling windows and sliders with terraces front and rear. Each has its own elevator. Each bedroom has an en suite.
Some buyers want to move right in. That’s why 10 models are furnished. “We expect to sell them,” he said.
Akoya Boca West was a gleam in his late father Richard Siemens’s eye, now a reality. Even Rob’s mother has moved in.
“My dad always like to be the first,” Siemens said. “This was his bold and great vision.”
