October Publisher Letter

As we enter the fall season, I’m reminded of all the changes we have experienced this past year. The upcoming holidays and events may not be the same. But our mindset paves the way for how we will embrace these moments in the near future.

When I’m out and about in our great city of Boca Raton, I’m grateful for the courtesies I see. Especially the calm nature of employees and business owners during our reopenings.

It’s truly a pleasure to witness. And it signifies our willingness to accept the changes and be steadfast to overcome adversity. Forward motion is the goal.

This month, the Boca Raton Museum of Art will have new exhibits starting Oct. 7. Festival of the Arts Boca Raton’s first virtual musical fundraiser is Oct. 8. Breast cancer awareness month still needs our support during October. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer’s decorated car parade at Boca Innovation Campus and Zoom watch party is Oct. 31. We can still virtually attend and contribute to these events.

Local schools’ football season is well underway. It’s wonderful to see the school traffic and so many students back on campuses.

The leaves on our trees may not change here, but our community is changing from inactivity to more active again.

Thank you for your continued support. Please continue to visit Boca Voice Facebook for up-to-date and breaking news that affects you. Our website Boca Voice is always the place to find local news, especially in this election season. I love to hear all of your voices as we report the news to you. Information is key and knowledge is power.

Let your voice be heard!

Yours Sincerely,

LoriAnn LaSalle
