New sales center for condos opens downtown

A new condo sales center just opened downtown.

Group P6 threw a grand opening party Wednesday so 250 invited guests could see a unit and rooms with a 270-degree view. There’s a video tour for prospective buyers and a scale model of three buildings.

The firm plans 48 Royal Palm Residences, underground parking and amenities at 475 E. Royal Palm Road. The site and sales center are on the south side of Palmetto Park Road just before the Intracoastal bridge.

Three- to five-bedroom residences include six penthouses. Each condo will have two assigned parking spaces. There’s a dual entry private elevator into each residence.

A master bath includes a “wet room” with a tub and shower.

Some 25 percent of the condos are already sold, Group P6 director Ignacio Diaz said at the opening.

Sotheby’s International is handling the realty end. Boca’s own RLC Architects designed the buildings. Suffolk’s the construction firm. Boca-based interior designer Steven Zelman did the lobbies and interiors.

He showed us a Wolf gas barbecue that will be built into outdoor terraces from 165 to more than 2,000 square feet. “It’s more like a Manhattan lifestyle, but by the beach,” he said. “People can pick you up in a boat across the street,” he said about the city’s only dock in Silver Palm Park.

Print brochures also mention the city’s plans to combine Wildflower Park with Silver Palm. Plus, restaurants, shopping, Mizner Park, Boca Raton Resort & Club. What Group P6’s Todd Richardson called “location, location, location.”
