High hopes for 2021

Happy New Year! I hope the holiday season was enjoyable for all and although some plans may have changed this year, my wish for you is one of hope and prosperity in 2021.

My message the past few months has been the importance of forward motion. Let’s keep moving day by day in bettering ourselves, our professions, and our work/home life balance as we navigate through uncertain times.

I applaud our community for continuing to come together to support local. Congratulations to the new businesses that have opened this past month. We wish you much success.

Some events going on this month are:

Annual Lion Event, formerly known as the Lion of Judah Luncheon. They’ll come together on Zoom at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 11. Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, a second-generation Holocaust survivor born in Hungary, co-founder of OPI nail products, media personality and philanthropist will headline. RSVPs by Jan. 10 at https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJEtc-6qqjMoHNB29JNLeNmVWbhK7G0MubTY

Palm Beach County public school kids return to school in person or online on Jan. 4. Classes resume at Palm Beach State College including their Boca Raton campus on Jan. 7. Classes resume on the Boca campus of FAU on Jan. 9. We wish all students an easy transition back to school and a successful semester.

Set your goals, follow up with friends and neighbors, and stay the course. Looking forward to the days when we can all co-mingle more freely again.
